I'm usually not one to share personal issues here but this is an exception.
My brother went to a neurologist today seeking answers to his "forgetful ways". That Doctor set him up appointments with another in Jackson and yet another in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. About all the sawbones could say is my brother has the beginnings of Alzheimer's. I only recently turned 57 and he's 2 and 1/2 years older at age 59.
Our Dad was diagnosed years ago but the Doctors put him on some medication so that you'd never know.
This has been an ordeal for all our family & friends, especially our Mom who has become more or less his caretaker/nurse/cook/housekeeper (in her house).
All my love, understanding and prayers to any and all out there who've been affected by this disease. All I ask is a little of the same if you have or haven't.
