Finally, It Rains... After I Water

Yesterday I saw (and felt under my bare toes) everything in my garden and yard was getting crunchy. Even a couple of my citrus trees were begging for water. Hell, they were almost fighting each other to follow my boy dog around to get peed on they were so parched! I hosed everything down real good and made em all happy then around 1:30 or 2:00 went to bed. A couple hours later I awoke to the sound of thunder and we got a good soaking rain. Maybe all I had to do was prime the pump!
