Back before the internet, when Microsoft was 1st coming our w/ Windows, when the 486 was the latest & greatest microprocessor I actually worked for a computer company based in Longview, Texas as an assembler, tester, trouble shooter and support technician. Everybody except my older brother has accepted the fact that asking me now to set up even a DVD player is like asking a lawn mower repairman to work on a jet engine. 33 Mhz was considered a fast computer at one time, kids... a 1 Gigabyte drive was said to be physically impractical if not impossible for a PC.
Now I'm trying to get my cell phone to talk to my PC so I can download pictures to share here. I'm saying a lot of, "I don't know what that means"... "I do what now?" and/or, "Click what button?" w/ not a small amount of language my grandma would slap me for if she ever heard it, God rest her and keep her.
At any rate, I'm off for the next 2 nights from my full time job so maybe I can figure out a little more and get a step or 3 closer to picture sharing. Pray for me. 0:)
