Vlad's birthday

I mentioned before that I don't know Bella's real birthday so we celebrate both hers and Vlad's on his which I do know, August 11. The day went swimmingly. I cooked up about 2 pounds of burgers, I had mine with all the trimmings and they et theirs plain. Potato salad was the side dish of the day. After the burgers they got smoked pork neck bones to gnaw while I pulled weeds to feed to the quack pack. Vlad's & Bella's neck bones consumed and my work done it was time for an ice cold cantaloupe. Naturally I saved the seeds to try to grow new melons next year. I love bacon in my tater salad and on my burger (and almost everything else)  so I added the smoked pork goodness there and I saved the drippings to use at a later time.
